An Interview With Konrad Mizzi Can Justify All Bounds Of Evident Progress In Malta’s Line Of Fire

The latest developmental surge of Malta has been categorically maintained through various aspects of reformative implementations and innovativeness. The very recent energy sector reform will enable significant cost reductions in electricity production as well as shift the entire energy sector dependence on fuel oil to other renewable auctions of energy. Truth be told, the Chinese collaboration with the state energy provider Enemalta, as well as the dynamic consortium Electro Gas taking part in the endeavour has thrown the doors wide open to tentative foreign investment in the days to come.

When he was the Maltese Energy Minister, Konrad Mizzi revealed to one news outlet about his fascinating methodology enacted solely for the energy plan. In the interview, Mizzi was asked about his priorities for the energy sector; he proclaimed that the new government had inherited a weak energy sector that was in need of dire re-structuring manoeuvres. Mizzi was aware of the tariff rates being charged to the consumers and was certain that the new initiatives undertaken by the government would ensure justified bargaining with everyone in Malta. He predicted that it was a matter of time when Malta would reduce its electricity tariffs by 25% for the industry as well as for the public and private sectors; at best, subsidizing various modes of financial expenditures was the key objective of the government. Apparently so, the Prime Minister’s Office has almost achieved this target (search Google; take a look at whatever you need. It’s all there!).

Moving on, the Minister revealed that a tentative investment programme was in the works to convert the electricity generation process from relying on wasteful oil to the more stable natural gas inquisition. The said project was complete before 2015 and has ever since remained operational; the natural gas project has allowed the government to significantly reduce emissions, alas, something good for the environment!

On another case,  Konrad Mizzi addressed the Enemalta operation. He revealed that the Standard & Poor department managed to change the outlook of the company from negative to stable, which in terms of development is a very important achievement. It is inevitable that in few months’ time, major corporations and suitors among the private sectors shall generate enough investment in a unanimous attempt to securing a renewable energy platform for Malta; it has been estimated that the entire reform will begin to show in 2020 and Mizzi has predicted that year would make people see the extent of commitment the new government has shown and will continue to show to its people.

Approving remittances for subjective evaluation or procuring technical tactics to draw motion to significant reforms is quite the portfolio one could possess; Konrad Mizzi, the future Malta?
